On the internet you can find countless patterns. You'll find good ones, bad ones and also plagiarisms. We don't wish to participate in this procedure and don't want to invent new patterns either. We prefer to stay with the best patterns and will give you the originals! In the download area (goodies), there are the best quality patterns, which were made available to us, by our friend Bruce Lambert, US. All plans represent successful fighters which already achieved great triumphs and victories, such as at the line touch world cup championships in Long Beach, WA (US). We will also provide plans and patterns designed by other kite makers that are proven to be successful flying kites. PLEASE NOTE: The patterns are full sized and are in multiple pieces when printed. They fit well together if the grid lines at the intersection build a square with sides of 2 cm length!!! In case of small discrepancies (0,1 mm - 1,0 mm) never mind: your fighter will still fly well. Bruce has also provided several sets of step by step instructions for making fighter kites. These are beneficial to both new and experienced builders. These instructions can be found in the download area (Goodies), as well as more detailed instructions regarding for example, the fine tuning and adjusting of a fighter kite, laminating of bamboo and so on. Using these instructions, you'll be successful in building your own fighter kites.
I'd also like to use the opportunity to recommend to you a book-CD written by Bruce Lambert. This CD (for Mac and PC, in English) contains everything a fighter kite fan is dreaming about. For example detailed background knowledge, hints and tricks, construction plans, instructions, information about materials, picture galleries and many other things. The CD can be obtained directly at | ![]()
